I’ve been to the Brooklyn Museum a few times. I already scanned my favorite lion there. Today I scanned this Egyptian goddess and Alexander the great.

It’s a process. I either use the 123D Catch app for the ipad or I use my camera and grab about 20-50 photos of the object from all angles.

Then, through the magic of Autodesk software and the cloud, I get a 3D model that requires fussing and snipping and then flat-bottoming and I upload it to Thingiverse. Check it out.  http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:39795
